It's the Thought that Counts
Dear Blogger,
Today i have to read a lot of articles and do a lot of blogs!So here it goes i started out with reading about what coworkers give other colleagues. HAHA some weird stuff are giving a life jacket, frozen potatoes, a used,dirty vase, a carton of cigarettes to a non-smoker. haha those are some pretty weird gifts but i guess you can say its the thought that counts haha!Also for a teen that just wants some extra holiday money should: be a gift wrapper, personal shopper, catering wait staff, or a gift basket maker.Thats all about that!

Setting Her Sites
Dear Blogger,
Today i read about a young girl named Robin Liss she just graduated in 2006 from Tufts University and she is already a CEO of her own company. She started this website that combined her hobby of making web sites and she like making Claymation movies on her camcorder. She started this website when she was in High School and people read what she had to say about her website and they liked it, now she is a very successful CEO of her own company.

Working on the Railroad!
Dear Blogger,
Today is Tuesday the 23 of October and i read about working on the railroad. This lady named Sharon Carlquist is a she is a conductor for the Metro North Railroad. Her job is to take tickets,collect fares, answer passengers' questions and just make sure that the passengers have a safe trip. She was working on a southbound train to New York City on the morning of Sept.11,2001. They helped many people escape the city and they packed as many people that they could into the train, they were helped by many doctors and nurses that abounded the train that morning. To be a conductor you have to be a multitasker. Yah thats all ok bye!

Remote Access
Dear Blogger,
Today i read about telecommute, most people that telecommute work from home. But they don't always work from home they will also have some days at the office to. I think whats cool about this job is that you don't have to worry about being late for work or worrying about traffic. But you also have to be in a quiet place at home for you to work also it said that if you have little toddlers running around at home it won't work for you to be a telecommute. Also it said that for a young person this job wouldn't be the best choice for them. Because most likely they are living with roommates and that will only distract them.Thats all i think k bye!

Today i read about a lady named Alison Walsh she is a associate producer for the N.com. She basically just updates the web site everyday and put hot new fresh stuff on the web. She works with photo shop and flash creating something new and eye opening for the viewers. When the website has a bug deflecting with it shes the one that fixes it now matter what day it is. Sometimes the web does on-air contests and so she has to stay there sometimes late at night to just monitor the contest. She said that she loves her job but there also the stressful days but she said that she wouldn't change her career for anything else.

Yesterday i read about a few people doing their job searching online. Also how they made it seem so easy to do that i thought about doing it myself.One guy named Malcolm Jamal Warner is a musician and he wanted to put a band together and line up some gigs on the road. But he didn't know how to do all that all on his own until one of his friends told him that myspace.com would be perfect source for him to go looking for possible band members.It also talked about what websites people use to look for jobs.Thats all ok bye!

Today i read about a boy named Jacob Komar and he re puts computers back together and gives them to people who don't have computers. When he was just 5 yrs old he was already writing computer programs and when he was 8 yrs old he started to take apart computers and put them back together. WOW some brain of kid!!!lol!

Mom is My Copilot!

Today is Sept.28,2007 i read about parents being more involved with their child's college applications. For me i wouldn't mind having my mom always there with me when ever i needed her. Especially during the time of when I'm deciding of what college to attend and how i do this and how i do that. To be honest I'm really quite baffled by the whole thing and also scared to leave home and be on my own. But it states in this article that most college bound students wouldn't mind having their parents involved with the starting of their college life's.

Where DO I go with BIOLOGY?

I read about how many different types of biologist there are and what they are specified to do. For starters there is a Genetic Counselor which counsels families on birth defects.There is also a Science/technical editors which edit journals and put their input into the science magazines.Then there are environmental lawyers which help save the planet and the wildlife. Nurses they come in handy when we need to know whats wrong with our body and what king of medicine we should be taking.Science teachers are also a very big part of starting off a young biologist they are the ones who teach the basics to the young ones.Pathologist are who try and save life's they look for cures of diseases. There are many many more types of biologist but those are just a few that i have mentioned.

Today i read about being creative. Almost in everything you do you are inspiring something creative. Even when you don't think you are. Whether it is playing a sport of writing a paper, you are doing something creative. Also when you on a job no matter what kind of job it still requires someone to come up with a creative idea to maybe solve a problem. To be creative it doesn't just take someone to be a genius or it is not only involved with arts.It also told me that everyone is creative in what they do.

Today i read about cartographers and how they do their job. They are really busy people . When a new road is put down they have to redo a whole new map again. but today they have special tools to make that easier and faster but cost a lot more to do.Also what i thought was cool was that when the GPS enters the information into GIS it can actually tell how many animals are in one spot and tell what kind of animal it is also tell how many males and females there are. Sounds pretty scary to me haha they are always watching jk!!!thats all i have to say about that!lol!

Today we had to just catch up on some things so i chose to read just few short articals. what really caught my attention was a "A Fine Mess" it was just mainly about how a messy room is really good for your brain!!!haha i know weird huh!! But really a messy room can help you develop new ideas. It also helps you rediscover things and remember.By having a clean room also makes you waste time on cleaning up!

The post office is a good job to be with and it comes with benefits like health and paid vacation and retirement funds. Working with the post office has many different jobs to work with like mail-processing clerk,mail handler, sales,service, and distribution associate. You also don't need a degree to become employed at the Post Office. The average annual salary is 46,388, the average hourly rate without benefits is $22.19 , and the average hourly rate with benefits is $37.35.

Whats New Interview?
Dear Blogger,
Today we read about how to be interviewed and what we should do in a interview. I was taught about being interviewed by more than just one person. They told us that in a situation like that we should just be calm and just answer the question the best way we can. If it comes in a time of being interviewed by a rude interviewee than we should just act calm and and not get frustrated with the person. Because odds are that the interviewee is just trying to see how you act in a situation like that.

The Rapping Teacher!

Today Miss.Yazzie had us read about a teacher in South Carolina. Zebulan Dinkins is teaching his third year as a fifth grade social studies teacher at Welcome Elementary School in Greenville, S.C. Zebulan first wanted to be a teacher when he was a Junior in High School. He got his insperation from and art teacher that made him feel confident in his work and he thought to himself that he wanted to make some students feel the way he was feeling at that moment. Zebulan tries to make learning fun for the kids and also help them remember stuff they learned by making a rap song out of it. Thats all bye!

Today is Tuesday and i am beat!Its like i didn't even get to sleep!It all started on Saturday we went to Camp Verde for a game and we lost.And is sucked really bad.Then on Sunday we had to go back to Flagstaff because we got a wrong part for my brothers car. Then that evening we went to meet my brother and his family in Window Rock! We went to watch my niece in the junior rodeo.She did pretty good there was a lot of contestants there!!So now i am so tired and i can hardly keep my eyes open. But today and lately in web design we have been on here blogger and photo shop and we've been learning some cool things. i like working on photo shop. well thats all from me today bye.

Nervous Day!!!

Today is kinda a nervous day because it feels like my first time at school again b-cuz i've bee gone for two days. Today is another blogger day!!Haha i like sayin that word!hee hee!yup but today we go onto this new internet browser thing called Firefox. It is alot better than the regular internet.You can have like alot of pages on at the same time!ITS AWESOME!!!We also learned how to make our own link spots.Ok thats enough im kinda all worned out from this stuff!bye!!!!
